Welcome to the Sylvania Fire-EMS website. Our Township and City have a combined population of nearly 50,000 residents and are located in Lucas County, which is in Northwest Ohio. Sylvania Township borders the northwest side of the City of Toledo. Sylvania Township, in which the City of Sylvania is also located, is one of the top ten largest Townships in Ohio. Our department is staffed by career firefighters 24 hours a day from 4 fire stations located throughout the City and Township of Sylvania.

We always strive to provide the best in professional emergency services from our highly skilled firefighters. Our fire-ems team provides the residents and visitors to our Sylvania community with the best in fire protection, emergency medical services, fire prevention/community risk reduction, and public safety education.  Our department also offers a myriad of additional safety and educational services.
