Battalion Chief Chad Morris was appointed to Sylvania Fire-EMS on August 28, 2000. He was promoted to Lieutenant on 08/12/2010 and promoted to Battalion Chief on 3/8/2020 Battalion Chief Morris earned an Associate Degree in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care from the University of Toledo and holds many credentials in the field of FIRE/EMS. He served as the Departments Community Outreach Coordinator from 2010-2020 and currently oversees the Fire Investigation Unit.  Battalion Chief Chad Morris serves as the “B” Platoon Battalion operating out of Station 62.
